Description
Gewurztraminer is an aromatic, cold climate grape and considered one of the 18 noble grape varieties. It is highly aromatic, low in acid and higher in alcohol than other dry white wines, such as Riesling.
Our grapes were sourced from the western slope in Palisade, Colorado where they benefitted from it's high desert terroir, daytime warmth and cool, nightly canyon breezes.
Our Gewurztraminer's taste profile is dry with aromas of lychee and elderflower. It is full-bodied and intense.
Due to it's intense, semi-sweet flavor, it is best paired with spicy dishes, poultry and fatty fishes. Our favorite food pairing for this Gewurtraminer is with Thanksgiving dinner.
Best served chilled between 40 and 45 degrees F.
